St James Vets

Nurse Clinics

In the past, most people would only visit the veterinary surgery when their pets were sick. Here at St.James’ we endeavour to offer a complete service for you and your pets and that includes helping you to care for them even when they are well!

We now run nurse clinics run by trained Pet Health Counsellors who are also qualified Veterinary Nurses, which means they are able to offer advice on a wide range of pet healthcare issues. These clinics are run by appointment on an individual basis in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Best of all the clinics are free!

So if there are any questions you would like to ask or if you would just like to spend a little time discussing your pet’s health, why not make an appointment for one of our clinics?

Some of the topics we offer advice on are:

  • Weight Management
  • Dietary Problems
  • Dental Health
  • Microchipping
  • Grooming
  • Worming and Flea Control
  • Neutering
  • Basic Training
  • Bereavement Counselling
  • Older Pets
  • Puppies/Kittens

If you would like to see one of our Pet Health Counsellors, please ring the surgery or call in to book an appointment.
