Alex qualified from The University of Liverpool in 2008 and spent a year traveling before beginning her career with St James Veterinary Group in 2009. Throughout her time with the practice, Alex has developed the farm and equine departments and is now the Clinical Leader of the large animal team. She particularly enjoys beef and sheep medicine and surgery, alongside equine general practice. Outside work, Alex can be found walking her border terrier, Beans, who clients will know well! He comes on all Alex’s visits with her, as well as when she rides her horse or works with her and her husbands’ small flock of sheep.
